My Camp Washington sills are rotting. Do I need to fix them first?
We handle that as part of the job. When we pull the old wood window we assess the opening, address any rot we find, and set the new vinyl unit into a sound frame. Because vinyl won't rot, the problem doesn't come back the way it did with the old wood.
How long do vinyl windows last?
Quality vinyl windows routinely last 20–40 years. Ours are backed by a lifetime product and labor warranty for as long as you own the home.
Is vinyl better than wood or aluminum?
For most Tri-State homes, yes — vinyl needs no painting, insulates better than aluminum, and won’t rot like wood. Wood still wins on certain historic looks, which we can talk through.
