Storm Doors in Linwood

Linwood is one of the city's smaller east-side neighborhoods, set along Eastern Avenue near Lunken Airport. The older homes here have front entries that leak air and take river-bottom weather, and a storm door over yours seals things up. Call (513) 657-2471.

Linwood

Storm Doors for Linwood homes

Down in the Linwood river bottoms the homes run older, and their front entry doors take the damp and the wind that comes off the river. The finish weathers, and cold air leaks in along a worn frame. A storm door hung over the entry stands between your front door and the weather, shielding the wood and adding a barrier against the draft.

Bulldog fits the storm door onto your existing front frame in a single visit. The heavy-duty aluminum or steel frame handles wind-driven rain and snow, and self-storing glass and screen panels let you open the entry to fresh air on a warm day. The insulating air gap between the two doors steadies the entry temperature and trims the utility bill, and a hydraulic closer with key-locking hardware completes it. Our own crews handle every step, and we never hand the work to a subcontractor.

Premium Storm Doors

Protect, Insulate, and Ventilate

A storm door shields your entry door from the weather, adds an insulating air gap, and lets you open the main door for a screened breeze. We install durable-framed storm doors with retractable or full-view screen options and glass panels that swap with the seasons.

Want the bigger picture? Pair it with replacement windows or a new entry door, and ask about rolling it into one 0%-for-24-months project. For efficiency ratings, the Energy Star program is a good reference.

Door Protection

Shields your entry door from harsh weather, extending paint and finish life by years.

Extra Insulation

Creates an insulating air gap that reduces drafts and lowers heating and cooling bills.

Easy Ventilation

Retractable screens turn your entry into a fresh-air opening when the weather’s nice.

Weather Defense

Stands up to wind-driven rain, sleet, and snow before it reaches your front door.

Common questions

Storm Doors FAQs

Can a storm door handle the damp weather near the Linwood river bottoms?

Yes. The frame is heavy-duty aluminum or steel built to stand up to wind-driven rain and the damp air down here, and it keeps that weather off your entry door. The air gap it creates also helps keep the front room drier and warmer through a wet Linwood winter.

Do storm doors really help with energy?

Yes — the trapped layer of air between the storm door and entry door adds insulation, and it blocks drafts and wind-driven rain from hitting the main door.

Can I get a full-view or retractable screen?

Both are options. Full-view swaps glass and screen panels seasonally; retractable screens tuck away when you want the glass. We’ll show you what fits your entry.

Will a storm door fit my existing door?

In almost all cases, yes — storm doors mount to the existing frame. We measure to confirm and handle the install.
