My Northgate slider fogs up between the panes. Is the whole door bad?
Fog between the glass means the seal failed and the argon has leaked out, so that pane no longer insulates. On some doors the glass unit alone can be swapped, but if the frame and rollers are worn too, a full replacement is the smarter spend. We will measure and give you the honest option for your door.
Why is my old sliding door so hard to open?
Usually worn rollers or a dirty, bent track. Our Platinum Series sliders ride on heavy-duty tandem rollers over a stainless track, so they glide with one finger — and seal far tighter while they’re at it.
