Greenhills
Siding for Greenhills homes
Greenhills is a historic planned Greenbelt town built in the 1930s as a New Deal project, now a National Historic Landmark district, with its original cottages and townhomes still in use. Siding on homes near a century old has weathered hard, with wood that peels and rots and later aluminum that has faded, and behind it these older walls let the drafts through. Owners here want the exterior refreshed without losing the character the district is known for. New siding does both, chosen to suit the original look.
We tear off the old siding, inspect the aging sheathing for rot the panels were hiding, and add house wrap as a moisture barrier before the new material goes up, working carefully around original trim and finishes. Insulated vinyl adds a foam layer that raises the R-value these 1930s cottages lack, while premium vinyl comes in profiles and cedar-look shakes that read like the original clapboard. We coordinate soffit, fascia, and trim to keep the period feel. Our own crews do it, under a lifetime warranty on product and labor.

Premium Vinyl Siding
A New Look That Holds the Heat
Old siding fades, cracks, and lets drafts in behind it. Ours is built for the swing between humid Cincinnati summers and cold-snap winters. Every job is measured, ordered, and installed by our own full-time crews — never subcontractors — and we haul the old material away when we’re done.
Want the bigger picture? Pair it with replacement windows or a new entry door, and ask about rolling it into one 0%-for-24-months project. For efficiency ratings, the Energy Star program is a good reference.
Lower energy bills
Insulated vinyl adds a continuous layer of foam behind the panel, cutting the drafts that make your furnace work overtime.
Virtually maintenance-free
No scraping, no repainting every few years. A rinse with the hose is about all it asks for.
Real curb appeal
Dozens of colors and profiles, including shakes and accents, so the house reads finished — not patched.
Lifetime warranty
Covered on the product AND our labor, for as long as you own the home. Same promise as everything we install.

Common questions
Siding FAQs
Can you re-side a historic Greenhills cottage without hurting its 1930s character?
Yes. We choose vinyl profiles and cedar-look shakes that read like the original clapboard, and we work carefully around the trim and finishes that give these cottages their period look. You get modern insulated panels and a color that never needs repainting while the house keeps its Greenbelt character. We inspect the old sheathing and add a moisture barrier as part of the job.
How long does vinyl siding last?
Quality insulated vinyl routinely lasts 30–40 years in the Tri-State climate. Ours is backed by a lifetime product and labor warranty for as long as you own the home.
Will new siding lower my energy bills?
Insulated vinyl adds a continuous layer of foam behind the panel, which reduces drafts and thermal bridging. Paired with new windows it makes a noticeable difference in heating and cooling costs.
Do you remove the old siding?
Yes. Our crews tear off the old material, inspect the sheathing underneath, and haul everything away. We leave the job site cleaner than we found it.
Can I finance a siding project?
Yes — the same financing menu as our window and door work, including 0% for 24 months on approved credit. The application is a soft pull that won’t affect your credit score.
