Does a new patio door help with the road noise near the Norwood Lateral?
It does. Low-E insulated glass is thicker and better sealed than the single-pane doors in a lot of these mid-century homes, so it knocks down the hum from the Lateral along with the heat loss. A tight, custom fit is what makes the difference, and that is where our crews spend the time.
Sliding or French patio doors — which should I choose?
Sliding doors save space since nothing swings into the room and maximize glass; French doors make a wider, more dramatic opening. It comes down to your room layout and look — we help you decide.
