I want to grow herbs year-round in my Reading kitchen. Will a garden window handle a cold winter?
Yes. The triple-pane Low-E glass and argon fill hold heat far better than the old single-pane sink windows common in 45215, so the shelf stays warm enough for herbs through a Cincinnati winter. The insulated frame also stops the condensation that used to soak plants sitting in an older garden window.
Where do garden windows go?
