My Park Hills kitchen doesn't get much direct sun on the hillside. Is a garden window still worth it?
It can be, because the glass on three sides gathers more of whatever light reaches the wall than a flat window ever will. Even shaded, the box brightens the counter and gives plants that like indirect light a good home on the shelf. Where do garden windows go?
