Does the insulated glass in a sidelight hold up on a windy Taylor Mill hilltop?
It does. Our sidelights use sealed insulated Low-E glass in a matched frame, so they hold the temperature at the entry as well as a good window would. On an exposed hilltop lot that means the foyer does not turn cold by the door in winter. The frame and glass carry a lifetime warranty.
Can I add sidelights to my existing door?
Often yes, if there’s room in the opening — it involves some framing, which we assess at the consultation. Sidelights are also easy to include when replacing the entry door.
Will sidelights hurt my privacy or security?
Not with the right glass. Privacy and obscured options block the view, and laminated or reinforced glass keeps security strong while still letting light in.
