My Bellevue house is small and the basement window is tiny. Is a hopper the right style?
For most Bellevue basements, yes. A hopper is built for exactly those short, wide openings and tilts inward so it works even when the well is shallow. If you need the opening to double as an emergency exit, that's a different code-compliant egress unit, and we can tell you on site which one your opening will take.
What is a hopper window?

Do hopper windows keep water out?
When closed they seal tight against the frame. We also flash the opening properly so wind-driven rain and ground moisture stay outside.
Can hopper windows be an egress exit?
Standard hoppers are usually too small for egress. If you need a code-compliant basement egress window, we can spec one — just ask at the consultation.
